The community management approach to PR & Marketing
Community facilitation focuses on value-based dialogue and feedback among communities. It views audiences as active cultures, and considers the politics of businesses entering online spaces. It takes the long view, and while social media marketing, advertising, and sales are vital to a company, online community management changes the end goal; to make your business integral to that communities needs rather than an external or overseeing force. I do this in three steps:
Identifying your valuesWhat matters most is your business's values. Evaluate your motivation for joining communities and establish customer avatars to create a solid base for trust, consistency, and transparency.

Joining their communitiesAfter you understand where you're coming from, identify and join target communities on a humble personal level. Use ethnographic methods to learn and understand what they want you to be.

Taking on responsabilityOnce your role in the community is understood, advertising organically and taking on responsibility in that community leads to solid leads that will generate social currency and long-term noteriety.

PR and Marketing Contract:
Although I operate PR and Marketing differently, the resulting ROI is the same. The difference comes down to organic values as metrics over traditional metrics. I measure your Brand's perceived social value and aim to make your company a necessary root in existing communities, rather than building ways for them to come to you. Ads and funnels are still a necessary part of my work, but it is all with the intent of building a strong connection with communities. Contracts are expected to be between 3-6 months minimum.
